Modern Day Slaves Movie at Festival De Cannes PDF Print E-mail

As the plight of overseas foreign workers continues to worsen in a declining economy our film, "Modern Day Slaves" garners it's 14th  film festival selection and is set to screen at Festival De Cannes in France.   Since it's completion in September 2009 Modern Day Slaves has steadily climbed out of obscurity and into the limelight.  Who would have thought that a film featuring 4 completely unknown unheard of housemaids in Asia would captivate the world as they share their stories of torture and abuses suffered while simply trying to do their daily work??  But truth is what it is, Truth indeed and it cuts like a double edge sword.  The overseas foreign worker now has a voice of  truth speaking from out of the global wilderness.  After May 19th the OFW's of the world will no longer be another hidden face in a mass of humanity.  They will be heard.

This May 19th the film and entertainment world will shake like an 8.0 earthquake as thousands upon thousands of festival attendees flock to the silver screen and weep as they are drawn into the dark modern day slave world of 4 humble women.  With the world in economic and political uproar this will be the film to see at Festival De Cannes.  A film that rocks your inner emotions. A film that just might stir you to anger. The film that will etch a place in your soul, forever.  Modern Day Slaves
